I always think of the New Year as our property tax and income tax time. Once those are paid, it's a great year after that.

As long as you have your health it is great to look forward and not backwards. The only bad thing of looking forward to the next year is everything is going up in price and morality is going down..........

Sorry it has been bad for so many, I have learned in my 60+ years, no matter how bad it seems, it can always get worse; in a hospital bed right now recovering from surgery and other things, but not going to complain, see above, it can be worse; well almost always.

Jim, my property taxes are always due in early December just before Christmas. Were still able to send $500.00 to family in the Philippines for Chrisrtmas. 2013, hi ho hi ho its off the fiscal cliff we go.

Sorry to hear that - hope your recovery is quick and you're back in the saddle and posting from home real soon. Just don't rush the recovery part; make sure you're good to go before you get up & go 8^)
