My wife got me a couple of additions for the tool box and "The Big Book of Farmall Tractors" for my winter enjoyment. Life is good.
My wife and I bought our Christmas present together, rather than getting each other separate gifts. It's a Grainmaker grain mill. We needed something that could keep up with our flour needs, as our old Kitchen Aid mill just wasn't up to it. We chose this particular model because of the 10 cup hopper, the heavy flywheel to help keep momentum as we crank, the huge 6" burrs, and the "Heirloom Lifetime Warranty" offered by this proudly made in USA product.
BTW, that's a gallon jar full of wheat right next to it to give an indication of the size of this beast.

Wife got me a new air powered roofing nailer (my suggestion).
Got to re-roof the house in the spring. Just did it in 2002 with 30 year shingles, but unknowingly installed crap IKO shingles. There is a huge class action law-suit against IKO for knowingly selling inferior shingles over a number of years. Some homeowners had to re-roof after just 3 years. I suppose I'm lucky I got 11
years. I hand nailed it last time in 2002. Didn't think I'd have to do it again in my lifetime, I'm now 65 and feel I can handle it again if I get some help getting the bundles up on the roof.
