As the factory feed to the rear work lights is unswitched and not tied into the head light circuit, I had to add a switch to control the lights. (id look pretty stupid mowing the lawn in broad daylight with the work lights on
)
Not too hard a job. Just cut the red/black line at the fusebox and splice in a short loop to the switch. The switch I used was a genuine Carling Contura switches. They are marine grade and have a great reputation. V-Series: Contura II & III | carlingtech.com I was hoping to get the ones that allow you to put the inserts into it to indicate the function, like this
, but they didnt have them. I can always retrofit one later when I find it.

Splice at fuse panel. Splice wire is inside the small loom cabletied to the larger bundle :
Contura switch mounted. This was about the only flat real estate I could find on the dash:
Right and left light's mounted, facing forward:
