Disengaging 4wd on Kubota L3200

A method that worked on my L275 DT was to drive straight ahead, abruptly let off on the throttle, and ease it out of 4WD at the same time (by pushing the lever down).
 This is effective on all our tractors. -- Essentially, accelerate straight ahead and then let off while simultaneously operating the lever. Works every time.

Ditto. I have the exact same tractor and it works ever time. I just ease it forward while engage/disengaging the selector and it works everytime. I now know the "sweet spot" and don't have any problems.

Generaly speaking, if you roll the tractor backwards slightly, it should shift out of gear without a problem.

Or, if you move the tractor in the opposite direction it was going when you tried to shift it out of 4wd, that will relieve any windup on the drivetrain and it'll slide right out of gear.
