So took the tire off then the bottom plug still nothing just a drip. Have no time for it to be down Needed to go to the non profit to cut wood . Also this morning it started rough i think it was the diesel after it warmed up ran better .

Tere are TWO plugs one rubber and 1 steel if you did not remove the one WITH the o-ring you did not get to the bearing case!! CJ

I believe CJONE has it right. I identified this problem in a thread a few months ago. Just had the dealers mechanic come out today to take a look at it since still under warranty. Without actually tearing it apart it seems that either that lower cup/cap that is held in by a snap ring is too thick and blocking the drain, or the drain hole is just drilled to low. Either way it causes no mechanical issues other than it takes a **** of a long time to get rid of the oil in that side. I am getting the dealer to either replace with a hub assembly without this problem or get something in writing saying it is fine and will not fail (and if it does kioti will be on the hook post warranty).

Can't say this is your problem for sure but it sounds like a manufacturing/assembly issue that has occurred to multiple tractors. If it is still under warranty get a dealer to come out and give you assurance that it will not cause issues for you. If you are mechanically inclined, while the tire is off, all you need are some snap ring pliers to get that lower cap off and you should be able see the problem, you can also see the lower kingpin bearing from there which could give you indication of a real problem. I opted to get the dealer mechanic out before tearing into it since still under warranty.

Just FYI, my bobcat CT335 has a issue with the oil coming out slowly as well. I lowered the front bucket and lifted the front axle off the ground and rocked the axle to the left and back again. I then kept the left side up and the oil came out w/out any more issues.
Now, I put in the proper amount of oil but the white ball was way up to the top of the glass, so I let about 3/4 of a quart out... To low. Added approximately 1/2 quart and it was centered. If I'm on a down grade it falls to the bottom of the glass? I put oil in until the ball was at the top of the glass again. No pressure is in the from axle, it's just a oil bath system. Better to have a little to much than not enough.

Have been looking at Kioti and LS. Called LS HQ in NC and asked to talk to a technical person. Was put right though and he answered all questions patiently. Next day I had two more questions. Called back and tech guy was out, but called me 15 minutes later.

Kiotis have a very good reputation around here, but I sure like not getting the run around when I have questions the dealer can't answer.

Then buy the LS, Thats what I would do. But Both yours dealers suck if you have to call the HQs for answers to your questions.

Actually, the Kioti dealer was very knowledgeable and has been in business many years. The LS dealer just started selling LS two months ago. Even so, if I were a new LS salesman I'd be crawling all over those things so I'd know exactly how every thing works. Recently went to a large truck dealer and none of the sales people seemed to be able to answer such tough questions as "what is the towing capacity?". Good sales folk are hard to find around here.

My original post was just to point out that not all brands have a Connie waiting to make life even more frustrating when the dealer can't answer your questions.

Your friend Connie has been gone since November of last year.

hcf,
Welcome to TBN.
And you're adding to an old thread that is essentially dead at this point.
The original poster has been complaining about Connie for some time now, and we are well aware here on this forum that she's finally flown the coup, which is good for all Kioti owners.
next time better to start a new thread rather than bringing up an old one- it's less confusing to everyone.

BTW, here's something else to consider: regardless of any local dealer issues; there are numerous people on these forums that can answer questions, including several dealers like Wallace, Michigan Iron & Equipment, etc.
I can say that personally I have learned most of what I know about tractors right here in this particular forum, since 2009.
