Haven't seen a storm like this one since February of 2011, I'll take a few pics tomorrow once I get started clearing. Glad I picked up a full can of diesel, plus a full tank in the tractor to start with.

We had a staggering 2 inches here, machines stayed put. One of my elderly clients called this morning asking when I was going to come and I asked her if she had actually looked outside. After a long moment of silence she replied "never mind, I heard some snow but somehow it's not there anymore". By "heard" I assumed she meant she heard the wind howling last night. Very windy, very little snow. Up here the snow show will be Monday and Tuesday, a classic Midwest-brewed storm hitting northern Maine via the St. Lawrence Valley. Those can be quite fierce. It's beginning to affect the Great Lakes now.

I assumed it had one because it was described as being a "farm tractor" and unless it was old, it would have had to have one although to be honest I'm nor familiar with the tractor safety regulations in NY state. I also assumed it had no cab because then a 15-ft drop could hardly have been fatal.

We got 25 around here. The wind row from the town street snow plows is over 5 feet of thick stuck snow.
I went out and blew all the edges of the driveways for all the neighbors on my street.
Got around 5 total hours on the tractor!!! I love that cab and heat. Had a small problem with window icing
Today is shovel day. Yech.
More storms coming monday and thursday.
