If you want fast, simple heat, something easy to work with. I'd would go with a propane wall heater. takes very little space and you probably can run it off a 20lb bbq tank. I have not tried this though, and I am sure there are many dangers with propane, but it can be the simplest thing. Just make sure you have adequate ventilation.

Just be aware of gas fumes from the sleds ! Wouldn't hurt to have the stove up off the floor a bit for that reason,the fumes will stay low. Make sure you have a good fast way out too.

Ya for sure the door will stay open when I'm in there !

Propane will create moisture.
Wood and other fuels would be drier but with snow on cold metal roof when you start heating you will probably think it is raining inside.
