I got the deal of the day on a factory 3rd function kit for my L3240

/ I got the deal of the day on a factory 3rd function kit for my L3240 #11
I just received my third function kit off that I bought off eBay. Took a chance, Hopefully all the parts are there and it fits my tractor. Everything looks to be brand new. The only thing I can see wrong is the white on/off switch has the guts pulled out, Kubota wants 125 for a new switch. I'm sure I can find a substitute switch for less than that. Total price with shipping $212.00 Lucky me!! if it fits and works that is!

It might be that the switch is the way it is (can't see it in the picture) is to thread the wires through the switch cover/shroud etc....?

No it's jacked. The guts of the switch are missing. I've found a replacement that I can wire in. Thanks for all the info guys.

Yea that's the one. Thought about doing that but if you accidentally hit the up or down button on the handle without anything plugged into the lines doesn't it make it hard to plug something on later?

Meh, not really an issue in practice.

The bigger issue is that the Kubota valve has a tendency to stick. You'll know it when it happens.

You shut the tractor off and hit the buttons a few times and it takes the pressure off of the 3rd function.

That makes sense. I can't wait to get it installed. I'm looking at that 60 inch grapple from palletforks.com. I'm open to suggestions on the best bang for the buck on a grapple.

Check out this grapple. It is made from 80,000 lbs yield strength steel and it lightweight. I have one that I won in contest that is a kit that I have to assembly. I am very impressed with the quality of it.

That grapple needs guards on the cylinders

Here's the pic from the auction.

Man you did good!
I have that same set up on my trac. The little white switch half way down the (new) loader control handle provides 12v to the unit. The 2 buttons up on the knob open/close each sol.
