That certainly isn't what I am going to do with it! I could be wrong, but I think the hydraulic bypass would kick in anyways, before anything could bend.

Thats is what I was thinking, it does not care the bucket is 4" foward now.

JHill,

Thanks for the reply, that is pretty much what I was thinking. I figure if I'm careful with it, I'm unlikely to hurt anything.

I actually have the BXpanded forks currently and have gotten a lot of use out of them. They are a great product but they have their limitations, particularly the fact they attach to the bucket. This significantly reduces the lift capacity and makes it difficult to see the forks.

Yes, that is true. The rear of the BXpanded forks is at the front of the bucket (which stays on), whereas the rear of the Kubota forks is where the rear of the bucket would normally be. As well, I just realized that you get to subtract the weight of the bucket with the Kubota system, since it is removed in order to attach the forks.

Does anyone know how much the bucket itself weighs?

Not that 10 lbs makes a diff but what is the construction diff between the buckets?

Chris

Don't really know that, I just looked in my Loader manual that came with my La 143 and in the specs it had both.I did notice both were 48" though.:confused3:

Can't say either what the construction difference, but I do remember that there's a volume difference as well, maybe 4.2 vs 4.6 cubic feet - going from memory.
