TBN Reported Attack Site ...came up on my screen when I tried to log on....

I got the warning using Firefox today. I think I will play it safe and stay off of TBN for a while and see if Muhammad gets it fixed.

Every page I've checked is free from malware but it's likely that there's a code injection that that got put into a page with a spam post. Or something that only appears under certain circumstances (specific browsers or coming from specific search engines). This happens from time to time. :thumbdown:

Two days ago (maybe three) I got a popup asking me to take a survey about this website. It wasn't from anywhere I recognized, and I closed the window. Today, I get the malware warning. I'd bet that popup had something to do with all this. I never thought another thing about it until the warning popped up today in Chrome and Firefox. I even got warning in IE8, but it didn't come from Google, and IE8 let me cancel/block the request.

I got it here too. Reported attack site.
On my desktop: Windows 7 Pro, McAfee VirusScan Enterprise, Firefox browser.
On my netbook: Windows 7 Home, AVG Free antivirus, Firefiox browser.
Android tablet running Chrome doesn't seem to mind, nor does my Windows Phone running IE

Thanks Muhammad, is it "safe" for us to be on here? Please keep us posted. I got the same message early morning and didn't log on until now. I went to TBN from another computer that I wasn't already logged in on, and I didn't get the malware warning, it was only once I tried logging in that I got it. I get it right away on this computer because I'm always logged in, so it seems like just visiting TBN and not being logged in, you don't get the message, but after logging in, or if your already logged in, you get the malware warning.

I "proceeded at my own risk" but I'm a little worried about it, although I'm using work computers and not my own laptop, so I'm not THAT worried. :laughing:

i got the same warning today. have win 7 and norton internet sec 2013.

I few days ago using the site: command on Google I was looking for something tractor related, unless it was naked chicks (tiny birds) on tractors or something. A TBN link was in the results and when I clicked on it, Avast reported Malware had been blocked. It then asked me did I want to block third party cookies. I did. No problems since.

This is not the first time Avast posts an alert thru IE9. Some time ago every search link I tried (TBN links) would alert Avast. Muhammad's programmer nailed that problem and I'm sure he'll nail this problem as we speak. I will however run my scanners/cleaners today to be on the safe side.

There are situations where the currently viewed site is not flagged on our Safe Browsing list, but users still see a warning in the browser. In this case, that site may have attempted to load content from a different website, one that is known to contain malicious content. We call this a cross-site warning. In Chrome, this is denoted with a browser interstitial with the following graphic:


If this occurs for your site, the first thing we recommend is locating and removing the reference to the domain that is triggering the browser warning. The warning will contain the domain the questionable content is being loaded from, and after removing content from that domain your page should no longer trigger the warning. Additionally, you may find more details in the Malware details section in Webmaster Tools. Keep in mind that the malware status of your website can change over time as our systems scan pages from your website. Should you see that your website is flagged, we recommend following instructions for sites that have been flagged as malware.

Using Microsoft Security essentials, CCleaner, Malwarebytes. Running the beta for all the new Firefox programs, it is called "Nightly".
