Well said and very poetic I normally think of a tractor as asexual; in the manner of an "iron horse" or a tool. I tend to see them as inanimate; capricious, dangerous and uncaring, but all the while powerful, obedient and dedicated. I can attribute feminine characteristics to them from time to time though; I am reminded of the time I was pulling a Graham Hame (sp?) with my Granddad's old 1942 U model M&M, on a wet upgrade and the tines went down nearly to the beams; "she" rared up on me and darn near came over...fortunately I had the presence of mind to grab the hand clutch in the nick of time, but I certainly haven't forgotten it...or "her" either.
