Looks like someone has been pawing around in your 4410 since it left the factory.

For mice, I use poison Bromethelin-laced bait and do my best (worked now for at least 30 years) to control the mouse population that are just looking for a good place to nest.

Lots of tried and trued remedies are no longer available.

Bromethelin is one of many that no longer can be sold in several states and the list is growing.

The only time I've ever had mice get into my shed is when I leave the doors open in the fall. Which now that I think of it, I did while mowing last night.

There's no food or water in there, it's stifling hot in summer... not exactly a place anyone will ever want to set up their home. I keep any grass seed in a Rubbermaid trash can with a lid, as that would be a source of food, if left out.

Metal trash cans are great… rodents can make short work of plastic and wood.

For sure! I use the metal ones for chicken feed, stored outdoors near the coop. But I've honestly never had trouble with Rubbermaid for grass seed in the shed.

Mice liked the area behind the gauge cluster on my TC33D. They never chewed wires (lucky) yet but they did stink. I scrubbed the area with pine-sol and tied Fresh-Cab anti mouse packets to the wires back there. I never had another problem.

I leave the hood up in the winter time and a light on that works pretty well for keeping the mice out of the engine compartment.
