Building a stick frame house in the woods in 90 days

I too am a fan of the tapered columns. The ones we used are HBGCOLUMNS.COM Perma-wrap. Ours were installed around structural 6X6 columns. They are made of cellular PVC. They look sharp, even up close. Although mine have not been in place for two years yet.

Hey sixdogs, ya know, my software will do a pretty good job at landscaping stuff...but again, it's not something I've utilized over the years. As far as some stuff that isn't quite so pricey, I don't have any idea...sorry, not much help, huh?

Two weeks to go. . . tick, tick, tick. The pressure is on. Lots of interior stuff to go. I hope your contractor has Felix the Cat's magic bag of tricks.

Moved the entry hole to the porch just to see what it would look like, using simple cut and paste. Didn't try to straighten the verticals of Jay's original.
I don't like the hole where I moved it. It looses the balance for the offset garage door that way.

Good call JP. I haven't used any of the other versions, so I don't have an opinion of them.
