What weight oil in eastern NC?

Probably wouldn't get an oil related failure with st. 30 wt. What I'm saying is, Supertec oil can't compare to oil as say, delo, shell, etc (any of the name brands) ,. delo , shell, will have way better add package then supertec. I didn't say it didn't meet specs. It probably meets min specs... To each their own . If you want min specs. or something that goes beyond min specs... Do you want the doc that just gets by in med school or the doc that goes above and beyond in med school ? Both are docs right ?

I have no problem with super teck but you can buy the dello for the same price I think as the supertec, not even sure if they make a diesel weight oil anymore in super tec? I think there beat on price by others, mabe im wrong?

Delo is what I use in the tractor.I would rather have oil blended to Chevron,shell,valvoline, etc, specs than oil blended to walmart specs. I couldn't tell you the cost of the walmart oil

On my personal Veh. It's Castrol and Motorcraft Filters but on my Mid 70's model Ym 2000 I believe most any Oil that has the correct weight is fine. I've been using the Super Tech for 6yrs. now. At first I bought Filters from Fredricks and after seeing a UTDA delaler with a New Fram Filter on a Used 2000 on the Lot I've been using them for the past 4yrs. I change it after it been sitting for the Winter. Doesn't leak or burn any. It's Org. with No signs what so ever anyone has been in the motor or even split for that matter. I also have noticed that My Oil Pressure come up quicker on a Cold Start. Thats A BIG :thumbsup: for me.

Yeah i'm a Delo fan too. I use it in my Landcruiser,tractors,mowers etc. Gotta love a mixed fleet oil. But best of all it meets all Jap specs.

i don't know the price off hand.. but they for sure have a 15w40 C/s rated oil on the shelf still.

I do know it's cheaper than the motorcraft PSD 15w40 that they carry as well.
