Cub cadet m60 zero turn isnt starting but is cranking

Im out at my moms working on her mower as she ran it out of gas and now the mower wont start, ive put gas back in the right tank but also tried the left tank witch is full of gas i have blew out all of the lines to make sure she didn't suck anything up into the lines and everything seem fine, but the motor just sits there and cranks and wont start. and when i turn the key to the on position to prime the fuel pump i just hear a clicking sound coming from it.

Any ideas would love some help

remove engine air cleaner. spray a cuppla shots of rattlecan carb cleaner down into carb throat while assistant is cranking engine. If engine pops and attempts to start, then you do have a fuel delivery problem. if nothing, then you have an ignition or internal mechanical engine problem (more likely ignition, kill wire or safety switches). Test and let us know.

I agree with rcbe's idea. My 3235 has the rocker arm actuated diaphragm fuel pump and last summer I didn't notice the low fuel light and ran out of gas. It took me quite a while to get it running again. I cranked and cranked and finally sprayed starting fluid into the carburetor. I had to do this several times, with the engine running a few seconds each time until it finally primed the pump and continued running.
