I know this doesn't come close to the guy who's building the new house in the woods in 90 days, but it's my own smaller version.

Can't wait til it's done. I need a place for my stuff.

Looks good! You going to have a driveway to it or will it just be used for non-vehicle storage?

I get that question often. I plan to just create a gradual uphill slope of grass right to the edge of the concrete floor. A driveway would kind of cut the yard in half and I decided that I just don't need it. It'll be a relatively low-traffic situation.

It's basically an overgrown shed for the tractor, chipper, splitter, wheelbarrow, lawnmower, tiller, chainsaw, yard tools, leaf blower, extension ladder, pressure washer, weed whacker, and all the different fuel cans I've acquired for everything. I know, I know... even at 24' x 24' it's full already and I haven't put anything in it yet. The 2 1/2 car attached garage currently holds all of that stuff plus a work bench, two vehicles and four bicycles so once I get it all out of there I might actually be able to open the door on my truck and not hit anything.

I'll post more pictures once it progresses over the next few weeks. We plan on residing the house to match it next year so we're trying to do it right. It'll eventually have Cedar Impressions siding and a pretty nice overhead door. I wish I could put a wood stove in it but with all the gasoline-fed equipment I don't want to burn it down after waiting this long to build it.

Thanks for all the comments.

I know the feeling. I would have preferred to just add on to my attached garage but it would have involved removing too much structure to be practical. Everyone on this site is right when they all say it will never be enough room no matter how big it is.

I think the wife is finally going to give in to me building onto the barn
her and my daughter came home with a JD gator last Sun.
I asked her where she was going to put it and she didn't have an answer
so by night fall after telling her how gators are a thiefs best friend her car is out in the driveway and the gators in the garage
she told me last night to price it out
YEHHHH
