Cub Cadet SLT 1554
I have been using this Cub Cadet SLT 1554 for about 5 years with no problem until middle of last week. I pulled it into my carport to drop the deck and clean same of builtup grass. All was well till attempting to restart again and nothing turns over easily I replaced the plugs and set to recommended setting .030 zip every once in awhile she pops making the attempt to start. What I found is she appears to flood out dumping fuel continuously at my wits end looking for advice.

If it has the Kolher Commander engine, it has two coils. One for each cylinder. Make sure your getting fire on both cylinders. Take a paper clip and press it into the plug boot and while someone cranks have it near a bare metal engine part to check for a nice blue arch. Do this on each plug. There is a tag on the side of the engine. Writ all that info down. You can search the engine type on the net and. Being up an exploded parts view list. If no ignition fire, then naturally the engine will flood with fuel while cranking. Check that first ang get back with you. -kid

well so much for that I am getting spark from both plugs still not firing she attempts to pop but won't start. I noticed that the plugs even though she is flooding(Chucking gas out of the Carb) are dry as a bone when I pull them I suspect this is a simple problem however it has mebaffled. HELP

If gas is running out of the carb it sounds like a float problem - stuck or bad needle valve.

If no gas in the cylinder. Plugs dry. The valves are not opening.
