Another nice day in the making.

I'm drinking my fourth cup of coffee Ron, and this one is better than the first one. I'll have a couple more this evening, and they will be good too. :laughing: Happy B'day to your Mom.

Got the new meat bird coop finished yesterday and after supper we moved the 80 4 week old chicks.
Today it's cleaning up outside and getting rid of some "stuff" we had stored in the layer hen's food/water storage room. Then I have to cut all the lawns, because I have been working on the new building I have missed at least one cutting so the grass in some spots looks 8-10 inches high.

Wheel fell off push mower yesterday, rusted away, so had to mend that before I could finish mowing in front of the pool. Need to keep an eye opener for a replacement mower or mower chassis.

Good Morning! 75˚ now, but a cold front is pushing through this afternoon keeping the highs in the low 90's. The yards sprinklers were having their workout yesterday. I don't know why I plant a garden. I think we will become a desert.

In the middle of this post I had to run outside and chase coyotes off. I never see them in the dark only hear them very very close. My cats must look like tasty morsels to them.

We had our first water volleyball competition last night in a non-heated pool, water temp was a nice 85˚.

I am at the airport headed back to DC, where it is very rainy next 2 days.

STL was nice. But I could not sleep last night... finally just got up at like 3:45 local...

It is not exciting to go home to my non-life... Sigh...

David my friend, it may be time to keep as good a relationship with the kids as possible, cut the wife's hold on you and start to figure out the future. I fear it's not going to be her and it's holding you back and making you miserable. Not fun, but you didn't choose it.

Mid 50's around 80 later, heavy rain tomorrow.

Got all but the 2 small rails on my deck last night, getting there slowly. Still gotta do lattice and other minor tweaks. It's only 12' x 16', but working alone is sloooowwwww! And no, that isn't my permanent deck furniture! While I realize two of them are "deck chairs", they go on a different deck.

Use a dremel with a drill bit. Once you relieve the pressure the pain in gone immediately. You don't have any nerve endings in the actual nail. The whole process is fairly painless.
