mahindra 5010 hydrualic steering problem

no it is not in special circumstances . the dealer used a 55 gallon drum of water in the bucket and it did it. The dealer was told about the static steering from Mahindras service rep, which the rep got the information from the Mahindra eng. Dept. the dealer gave me the service rep's number and I called him and he told me the same story the dealer told me so I'm at a lost right now

Mahindra has essentially coined a new term for inadequate hydraulic steering. The relief valve pressure setting shound be increased to the max. Yours is probably on the low side. On my 7520 the system cannot control the direction of the wheels in a hard push on uneven ground. It is better when cold, like yours. I am considering going to 5W-40 oil but need to check its hi temp viscosity vs the ATF which is standard.

Spyderlk, I think what you are saying has merit. I think the customers 5010 is not working right. Pressures need tested. And static power-steering? I've not heard of that. I'll say again, the 10 series with the widest tire option has always, going back to the 4110 even from years ago, had a issue when fully loaded and completely stopped and in great traction situations. Most people never notice it. On the OP tractor, it sounds much worse. I would think there is a specification as to how much pressure is applied before bypass, and that needs to be figured out and checked if it hasn't been already. Just my $0.02 worth.
