We finally have made it to the warmer part of the season. I say 'warm' because we don't call it 'hot' here until we go over 100 F. This week the nighttime temperatures are in the mid-70s F and the daytime temperatures in the mid to high 90s F. However, this morning it was 66 F and a big dew is on the grass. I need to pick beans and peas, but have to wait until it is fairly dry, but not too hot and humid either. That'll probably be a 20 minute stretch between 10 and 10:30 AM.

I thought it frosts when the temp drops below 90.

well the rain stoped around 9 am got another shower abut 2 pm but managed to get some bushhoging done for a neighbor. i planted my tmaters for the 3rd time so if they make it ok not planting no more.
