Zimmerman got rail roaded in the name of political correctness by people who wanted to see racism where none existed to cover for a thug. I will not let anyone threaten me on my own property and just stand by until they finally hurt /kill me to show I had a good court case. Expert is a term that is debatable. I stand by my position. Mas Ayoob is a good guy and has much knowledge but no one should have to tolerate abuse. The survivor gets to tell the story to the authorities.

A gun involved fatal confrontation is two problems. Surviving the immediate physical and the later legal. Do your own internet search and see the costs others have faced.

Friend of mine was going thru a divorce. His wife and new man set up camp with his kids. New man was bulling him when he picked up/dropped off his kids. He starts toting a gun, a S&W 45 auto. Him and the guy get into it. He pulls his gun fires 1 shot miss the man but hits his 3 year old daughter in the head. Man pulls out a 40 cal hits him once in the chest, once in the head, & once in the shoulder. My friend lives after a year of recovery he's fine. He is a convicted felon. One child died and lost his vistation rights to the other.

I"ve been there. Get all the stuff to build a fence. Beg borrow whatever you have to do. Build it right. Get enough people together to finish it in one day. Have the Sheriff patrol your road that day. I had 20 people helping me all toting guns except me. Sheriff finally got tired of sitting in my driveway, after we had a few little problems, he helped drive a few staples. I spoke to my lawyer and this was his advice and do it when you know they will be there. Build fence at least 6 inches on your side. Post it that day. If they bother you anymore have them severed and get it over with.

Or call a realator before you get in to deep and attached.

The problem with that, is that if you do that, you are intentional doing something to cause harm in an area that you know these creeps ride. Even though it is posted no trespassing, they would still win the lawsuit that the OP intentionally caused bodily harm after they wrecked they motorcycle in the furrow. That's a lose-lose situation, and it sucks!

Yes they could, but if the t-post was there already it's not an issue. You run into issue if you put up things to cause harm in the direct path of where you know someone rides a bike. If it is well-marked, it's not an issue, but a furrow could be hidden, and built to take the perps by surprise, and therein lies the problem.

I bought tract #4. The notch in the corner of tract 4 is my house it sits pretty much directly behind the barn. The point marked L6 is where they are coming onto the property. The three lines you can see show the county road.

I'm not sure whose comments you are calling "crazy", but to me crazy would be getting surrounded on my own property by a gang of 6-8 people pushing and threatening me while the cops are over half an hour away, and not having the means to defend myself.

So yes, you can bet that my gun would be "pulled" in that scenario, and whether or not I would feel the need to "start shooting" would be determined by the actions of said gang. I'll let a jury decide what is crazy and what is self-defense once the threat has been neutralized and me and my family are safe.
