Let's keep this out of Eddie's thread. I'll PM you Ron.

Woops. Too many tabs open at once. I thought I was in the Texas summer thread. Sorry Eddie.

The place looks great!

Do you always start in the middle and work out towards the walls? I can see the advantage in keeping the lines straighter over a long distance. I can't tell is that wood grained tile or laminate?

I have only heard about the wood grain tile. seen it in stores when i put in my hardwood and i think i have seen it in a store or restaurant somewhere?

What was his underlayment? The success of peel-and-stick depends on very careful placement because you can't move the tile around once placed. The long-term success depends on what the tile is stuck onto. If it is old tile and very clean, then the tile will probably stick fine. Sticking down to concrete. . . not so much.

Not much risk in old linoleum or asbestos tiles unless they are literally turning to dust. Virtually all asbestos related disease is caused by industrial exposure to high levels of dust from insulation etc. I didn't think linoleum itself had any asbestos but even other types of asbestos tiles are very low risk.
