I read about that gun a couple of weeks ago. The liberals want people to think that any nut can go out and purchase one of these and start killing minutes later. The fact is they can buy any cheap gun and kill just as easily.

not possible when there is no gun registration buddy. I don't know the laws for every state but most states do not have a registration. Handgun sales can require a ffle transfer but for my state and your state, long rifles have no trail. you can buy and sell to anyone you wish with no paper trail or background check. Plus, this isn't the most deadly rifle ever made. All take skill and practice

Yep, I know all of that. BUT, I can guarantee that if you are spending $27500 for a rifle, your name and address is going to be written down on a bill of sale, warranty card, credit card or whatever. Heck can't pay cash for it without having to report the cash transfer.

If the SS wants to know - under the guise of the Patriot Act, they will make it happen...buddy.

James, I suppose it depends on the actual target size. My ex BIL is into the "Rendezvous" thing, black powder shoots, frontier re-enactments. 50 cal Sharps shooting steel buffalo targets at 1000 yards kinda thing.

Replace that buffalo target with a beer can... that's quite a shot!

Absolutely correct. But the article did not specify what the "target" was that could be hit with their rifle either. I was thinking man sized silhouette. A beer can? Yes that would be a real challenge.
