public forum here.
I recommend getting the moderator to prune your posts...before the neighbors find it...they could already know about the cameras.
Lots of info here but this is not the place to adjudicate the dispute. I am amazed at the number and aggressiveness of the people.
I agree with the video documentation, static and active, and paper trail starting now.
Bluster on TBN re weapons and self protection is poor advice. Don't follow. And if you do happen to possess firearms, DO NOT MENTION IT HERE. Find out about the self defence laws in your state. Follow them.
Now, a story.
A relative put up political signs, as many do, last election. Someone tore them down couple of times. He talked to police, notified them, verified it was illigal to remove/destroy such property. He took cell phone, video and still camera and waited in bushes at night. Person came, began destruction.
Immediate 911 call, identified location, property destruction, left phone active thus recording at 911 all conversation. Verified LEO dispatch. Stayed in bushes until closely approached by perp to get to last sign. Surprise photo flash caught him in act. Started video camera documenting both audio and video the confrontation and actions of both parties. He started to leave on foot, relative followed at a DISTANCE, video rolling, occasional flash still photos. LEO'S arrived, 911 call terminated, restraining orders issued on both sides and perp cited for property destruction under $50...over that would have been a more serious offence.
Relative next day early called several TV stations which arrived, loved still, video and audio evidence, including clear image of perp. Copy of restraining order gave his name, address. TV interviewed him and showed whole thing on night news, video/audio of confrontation clearly showed the improper actions of the perp. Actual evidence, no finger pointing except on video/audio.
Perp got to talk to judge. No cost to relative except for time, camera supplies.
I should also mention relative also had backup of neighbor whose signs were also destroyed, and another relative...after initial confrontation minute.
Somewhere in this story may be an idea you can use to advantage.
