I am running hoses from a rear hydraulic kit to a FEL grapple. I want to solidly mount the quick disconnects on the FEL. They are flush face. A bracket like this would be great, but I haven't seen one for flush face conns:

I have seen setups with a simple L bracket. It looks like the NPT fitting are tightened down on the bracket. I'm not sure I can get the bracket thickness and torque on the NPTs right attempting this.

The QDs on the JD supplied hydraulic kit have grooves for retaining rings, and those rings hold the rear QD on their bracket. That would be great, but the flush face QDs that came with the grapple (Dixon brand) don't have grooves. I doubt that the QDs I am getting from Surplus Center will either -- and these are the ones that I want to mount so they don't flop around with or without the grapple attached.

Any advice is appreciated.

A bracket with bulkhead fittings. These can be found with threads to fit your QC and hoses. Just determine the size and type of threads you need.

I made a bracket with a piece of aluminum angle and u-bolts that fit the diameter of the connector.

Be sure your hoses to the grapple are long enough at full dump.

How the heck you keep that tractor so clean? Do you use it or are these old pics?

It was a few days old then. Note the dirt in the grill:D

Use either 3/16" or 1/4" material. Run a 1/2" NPT tap all the way through. Get your 1/2" NPT adapter and put it in and tighten it up. Works perfect. Use a wrench on both the adapter and the QD when putting the QD on. This is about the most compact way to do this, a little more work, but a VERY CLEAN INSTALLATION. This is what I did for my loader. ;)

Here is a 3rd example using a bulkhead adapter. It is really nice if you can get QD fittings
that use JIC or ORFS instead of NPT, too.

Generally, I also like to put one male and one female QD on the bracket(s) so that you
can not connect the implement backwards and you can connect the hose ends together
when the implement is dismounted.
