Is this kubota priced right?

I have always found the used tractor market prices to be a bit off IMO.

I recently purchased a new L3200HST with a loader for about $20,000Cdn.

However, reviewing the local classifieds I can find someone selling a Ford 1700 with a loader from the 80's for $17,000. Why would I buy a 30 year old tractor for only $3k less then a brand new one? Similar spec'd Kubotas or John Deeres to mine in this area would also be in the high teens for price on a used one. For a little more I get a tractor I know that nobody has abused and 0% financing. No brainer to me.

Having said all that I think given that US prices are lower then here, a 2007 L3400DT is a bit overpriced at $14,500.

No emissions? Better quality too maybe. At par or better.

You did well on that deal. Working Kubota's build your own site by the time you add in the loader with the quick attach bucket this one has on it the list is up around $30K US so you might get it for around $26K after all was said and signed on. The difference is of course the financing. They WILL let you borrow the money to buy the new one and I don't know any bank that will lend you 14K or so for a seven year old half size tractor.

Could you elaborate a bit further? Are you referring to no emissions standards on the older tractor and it being better quality?

Something is a little off here. When I use the US site to price my L3200 I get an MRSP of just over $21k, which you could expect to do better then $20k on. Are you sure you chose the right model?

Perhaps? The problem probably exists between my monitor screen and the chair. I get 21K for the bare machine and 3800 for the loader that will lift 1400 plus another 2k for the QA bucket. Add in the other rear valves etc. and you are up there. This on a L3249 GST3
