I have always found the used tractor market prices to be a bit off IMO.
I recently purchased a new L3200HST with a loader for about $20,000Cdn.
However, reviewing the local classifieds I can find someone selling a Ford 1700 with a loader from the 80's for $17,000. Why would I buy a 30 year old tractor for only $3k less then a brand new one? Similar spec'd Kubotas or John Deeres to mine in this area would also be in the high teens for price on a used one. For a little more I get a tractor I know that nobody has abused and 0% financing. No brainer to me.
Having said all that I think given that US prices are lower then here, a 2007 L3400DT is a bit overpriced at $14,500.
