Here is a 3rd example using a bulkhead adapter. It is really nice if you can get QD fittings
that use JIC or ORFS instead of NPT, too.

Generally, I also like to put one male and one female QD on the bracket(s) so that you
can not connect the implement backwards and you can connect the hose ends together
when the implement is dismounted.

David, have you actually seen JIC or ORFC QDs? :confused3: I have only seen NPT or ORB myself.

No, I have not, actually. SAE-ORB, yes, which is fine. I am glad that DHH now carries some of those.
I wonder why no JIC or ORFS?

Nice. ORFS, ORB, or JIC are all great, esp compared to lousy NPT.

BTW, my no-brand male QD above leaks slowly at the poppet, since new. :-(
