Sorry for your loss, I do know how hard it can be and how a good companion is missed. I almost lost my 7 year old Shepard yesterday had hemorrhagic gastro enteritis belly was full of blood. Unknown cause but thankfully off to the vet in time.

Tach, sorry for your loss. Sounds like Pepper had a good life for 12 years. If she was 17 years old, that's a very long life for a large breed dog. You must've kept good care of her. I know how tough it is to lose one. It's not easy. I still haven't replaced mine after 10 years.

Here is mine, he hunts, points and retreives , a Brittany...doing what he also does best, glad he has company out there...LOL

I love Brittany's! I have a 4 year old Britt. All she does is chase things and play non stop. Works for me! Great dog sir!

No...they are actually toy poodles. We just don't get them groomed in the traditional poodle cut.
