Neighbor called the Law on me for shooting

HUM tell your neighbors to move where I live,guns are a MUST,I was watering my cactus and ran into one of my rattle snakesView attachment 325131 Think something like this would change their mind about guns? PITA members, I don't understand them,now send me a few deers I would prefer them in my freezer over beef

I know we have rattlers here but fortunately in my 47 years I have never seen one. I did go walking thru the woods one evening about a year ago when I spooked a wild hog. She took off running the opposite direction. I squatted down and waited a few minutes to see if she'd come back. Heard a rustling noise, looked to my left about ten feet away in some brush and there were three piglets. My son said you better
start taking a gun with you.

Thats right,start totting that gun,I live in New Mexico,and we all tote our guns,of course as I watch the news and do have a understanding what our elected officials are trying to do is remove them from you, so our country can become a total dictatorship, and not allow you to protect you and your family from varmint or politician,and it's all BS,guns are your rights,if your neighbors move to the country and don't like guns,maybe this should be stated in their signing for their mortgage that your neighbors own guns and shoot them ! I just don't get it, and I am a Democrat,yes I do feel very very sorry for the people that lost their children in Connecticut,but it was mental illness and a disturbed child that did this not the gun, guns are a part of the wood shed,like any good tool keep it clean you may need it someday!

Anti-gun sheeple are now everywhere! While I agree with the suggestion to introduce yourself to your neighbors that called on you, trying to get along with them is Mission Impossible. Anti-Second Amendment idiots think everything revolves around them and anyone who owns and uses a firearm is a terrorist! I would agree with getting a copy of the police report, just to protect yourself from undo harassment, plus maybe take some pictures of the backstop, firing position etc., in case you have to hire legal council.

One other suggestion. Take that front loader and make a dirt impact berm perpendicular to the road, put a shooting bench out and do it clean. That way when neighbor calls again and cops show up you can show the cop a very safe shooting area he can relay to the whiners.

A few years back down the road from our hunting club one of the old houses was sold. Now the club owns three hundred acres and has been a hunting club since 1955. The club, for the most part, only has people on the range on the weekends and only a few times a year. Well we do have a few shooting weekends with trap and sporting clays competitions but only twice a year. And the weeks before deer season sighting in is always a possibility.

Well the new owners of the property decide to open a bed and breakfast. They advertize the place as a peaceful retreat in the Berkshires. Well they apparently did not do their homework when picking their location and had a fit when we had one of the trap shoot events. They called the State Police and reported automatic gunfire coming from the range. Well in short order we had the troopers at the place asking lots of questions. They left and informed the B&B owners that we have been doing this for a long time and it was within the law and oh by the way the gun club down the road is having a turkey shoot next weekend. The B&B people came up and introduced themselves and we came to an agreement to put them on our mailing list so that they could inform potential guests of the event and be prepared for the noise. They realized that they were the newcomers and we were not about stop shooting.

Does anybody ever think like I do? and we need to start over, where I live I mind my own business,and know a few times a year that their are hunters all over my mountains,hunting,I say my mountains but the BLM has another view ...LOL... I was raised in Chicago,back in the day when we had gun shops their, WOW I am old LOL, my father and I use to go to the gun shops and get ready for hunting season every year,and I never thought about killing someone with a gun (AND STILL DONT) except politicians,some days, I can't believe how our world has evolved, our government is no longer for the people by the people,and the people no longer care about their neighbor, and guns are a thing that only criminals own STOP!!!! I'm back in school to finish my BS degree, 95% of the public don't know the half of the real truth. For one of my classes I been doing some research.

SO much of what I have found out is going on comes from OTHER GOVERNMENT/COUNTRIES and their press sites. The American public wonders why the world hates USA so much, it's because we dont even know 1/8th of the stuff our Government is doing to others..

Let me say this the US Government is NOT protecting the public by creating so much haltered of USA and I in no way would want to go much outside the USA and be know as an American.

(Ok Canada, UK & Australia I might visit only because their governments already took most of their guns away.)

No way go to Mexico or much Middle East or N. Africa as we give them GUNS and SMALL ARMS to fight themselves, heck we been arming both sides of waring parties & Drug cartels in those countries...

The IRS has many (I think we are over 5 of them now) of the top officials taking pleading the 5th to impede the Congressional Investigation going on. (In case any of you didn't know this was same thing that eventually took Nixon down.)

The Operation PRISM (one run by the NSA released by E Snowden 2 weeks back) is collecting ALL the globes data including everything you do and say on the internet & has since 2008.

The Benghazi stuff was well known and several teams could have saved the ambassador & the other Marines killed there. This has been stated by several people and whistle blowers are still afraid to come forward and testify.

The AP press were not the only ones being wiretapped and if these government agents can't get one Judge to sign off they go to more and more judges till one does sign off. Which reminds me of a Nixon Quote "When the President does it that means it's not Illegal."

A week to two back Obama said "We cant be 100% safe and expect to have 100% privacy" which takes me back to a quote by Ben Franklin who said

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Hallelujah brother, can i have an amen. The bed and breakfast could even have a special on those week-ends for the gun club competitors coming in from out of town.
