Well, since I dont have much to do at the moment, I thought I'd share some pics of my stupid dog, and some pictures of what he has done:laughing:

This dog will eat and destroy anything.

And about 3 or 4 times a year, he gets some animal. Possum, Ground hog, Coon, etc.

Warning: some may be graphic...

So here we go:

This is what he did to all the corners of my garage... (thats steel BTW, NOT aluminum)

And a few of his favorite treats. OSB and Treated lumber

Digging in the woodpile for something??

Some of the chewed up stuff has to be a nuisance, but two thumbs up on the groundhog kill.

Hilarious pics. What's up with all the millipedes? They hear about a shoe sale or something?

I have a giant chipmunk condo in my wood pile. That could explain his interest.

Yea, I imagine theres something in there. Its funny though, watching him throw pieces of firewood off with his mouth. Good sized split pieces too, must weigh ~10lbs.

The chipmunks is also how the garage corners got tore up, he was after them hard core

Any dog that captures and kills woodchucks is worth his weight. Hire him out.

A blind man was seen waiting at a street corner with his guide dog. After a short wait the dog started leading the blind man across the street against the red light.

First a car comes screeching to a halt inches away from him, but still the dog leads on, then a bicyclist almost wipes them out and curses as he goes by. Finally in the last lane a truck swerves and barely misses them.

After they reach the far corner the blind man reaches in his pocket and pulls out a cookie and offers it to the guide dog. At this point another person who has watched the entire episode interrupts asking why he was rewarding the dog after the dog had endangered his life and almost got him run over by a car, bicycle and truck.

The blind man responded: "I'm not rewarding him, I'm just trying to find out which end is his head so I can kick him in the ***."

That coon looks roadkill flat. Suspect what you've got is a hunter/gatherer dog.:laughing:

Nope. Its one he has killed.

I have witnessed it any times. That one was a youngster coon BTW. And he had been at it all day, but he saves them to show me when I get home from work. ITs just soooo funny cause you can tell how proud of it he is. The dogs dont go to the road. Invisible fence that WORKS. They arent allowed within 100 feet of the road, which is only a township road that rarely sees much traffic, let alone road kill.

Often times at night, I can ehar them out back in the woods going nuts over either a coon, hog, or possum. Evidence is usually the next morning...

Does he make his entrance with a whirring sound, and moving so fast that he is all blurry and looks like a mini tornado?

Our last dog was called TAZ (she was Lab-Doberman mix) and loved to chase her stubby tail...

Our now BEAR is a really great dog, he has killed 3 possum this year got 5 last year with 2 wood chucks. 3 years ago he went 3 and 5 on the possum to woodchucks. This in side city limits and inside a chain link fence! I take him to the farm and point him towards a hole and he will bring me a victim dug out of the bottom of what ever hole he found. Inside the house only thing he ever ate was one or two TAGS out of the back of mommies shirt. That was when he was maybe 6 months or less old...

one of my fav pics of our BEAR
He is not gun shy, our old girl TAZ ate two doors and part of the floor & tore up linoleum, any time it stormed she ate something if she wasn't laying in someones lap.

We live near the crossroads of two country roads, a favorite spot for people to drop strays. About five or six years ago we had a Chocolate Lab puppy dumped on us. I didn't want to keep it, but my wife always feeds strays. And once you feed a stray, it isn't a stray any longer. After the second bag of puppy chow, we named her Mocha. About an acre of our back yard is fenced, from when our old Chow Cedar was still alive, but I didn't want to keep Mocha penned. If no one is home, unless someone breaks into your backyard, a penned dog isn't much help. So we let her run free.
Her being a Lab, and a puppy, she did do a little chewing. Like the steps to the deck, the bench around the deck, the 2 X 2 balusters on the guard rails and the deck itself. We were not too happy with that, but it was in the backyard anyway. Even if we put her in the fence, she would have access to the deck.
There were a few other times, like when I left a hoe down by the garden. She didn't chew the handle all the way into, but it wasn't much good for hoeing afterwards. We quickly learned to keep the sheds in good shape. Anything left out had a way of getting chewed.
Then when she was about six months old, she chewed up the wiring harnesses on my wife's Prius and my pickup. She has been living behind the fence ever since. Even at five years old she still likes to chew. But she is a good dog. One of the wife's orange cats that got run off by the tom from the front yard has moved in with her. They keep each other company.

I just wish he wouldnt chew up valuable stuff. Like garage trim. Or corners on my back deck...

Very nice looking dog indeed. Dont look too big either.

It is mighty funny watching a 45lb dog prance around with a 20# hog in his mouth:laughing:
