Getting tired of some of the it's the op . I grew up on tractors my first time driving one at age 5 in the field then at age 6 down the road. After a year with a tractor that keeps craping out more has made use struggle to get the road in at a non profit and to get wood out and cut and split to help people heat there homes. Could get the vegetable garden in to help feed people because I can't keep it running to clean it up . When you get the runaround from a dealer and at kioti from day one that gets tiring too. Then a sick daughter and other family members are sick and die ing. Then one of the kids that we were teaching end his life because got tired of being bulled. I know how that feels from some of the people on here. So going from a hospital to hospital then seeing my grandfather the man that raised is sick, to getting a call that another child ended there life and I was asked to make the urn of a child that couldn't take the abuses anymore. So yeah I'm upset at a company that give the run around that takes time to get parts and if I could get to the dealer again for another 400.00 to I have them deal with the same issues for the forth time. At yet again 400.00 gets a little pissed off . It was nice that Whittemore came out that one time to help. How would you guys feel if you where walking in my shoes on this tractor.

In my opinion, the first time I have an issue with my tractor while it's under warranty, it's on me to get the tractor to the dealership--whether I have to pay for the dealer to pick it up, or trailer it there myself. If the issue is supposedly fixed, and I get the tractor back and the exact same issue comes up again while the tractor is still under warranty, I expect a little more from the dealer and I certainly wouldn't pay them $400 to pick up the tractor a second or third time. It's bad enough the same issue is causing me to lose the use of my tractor multiple times, but asking me to pay $400 more than once is just adding insult to injury.

Just it he hasn't paid anything as of yet for repairs. Everything has been free so far, and if I remember correctly LaK stated that his Father-in-law was taking care of the tractor for LaK so he could concentrate on his daughter.
This gets stranger and stranger, it almost looks as if thought someone is trying to use a tractor then after doing what they have to do with it, wants the manufacture to turn around and buy the tractor back. You would have to pay for the 195 hours of use if you do get the AG to force Kioti to buy the tractor back, trust me I know I went through this with a Ford Truck. You have to pay for what you use.

Here's the facts: ANY diesel tractor engine has a starting circuit and an ignition circuit. Could they each have problems on this tractor? Possibly, though not likely. If the ignition switch is/was bad and Kioti was switching to another supplier it could take time to get the newer model switch because of back order, etc.
Could the starting circuit have a bad cable to the battery or starter? Possibly. Does dealing with Connie at Kioti Corporate make for a frustrating day, Yes, when she was there running interference.
Could most of us fix this tractor? I can't say what other's skill set is but I believe I could if it was in front of me.
You want to swap out tractors? No way- but if you're anywhere near Bethel, ME, I might be coming down to ME for a few days later this month.
And yes, as stated, ALL of us have family issues and bad stuff happen to us and family, UNFORTUNATELY. I don't wish anyone bad luck/karma. My best friend just died in Burlington at 51 because they could not figure out what was wrong with his lungs. I watched him die at Fletcher Allen, on morphine and 100% oxygen.
Most of us have some horror story to tell, and truth is stranger than fiction.
However this doesn't make your tractor a piece of crap or a lemon. There is a big orange sticker on my radiator frame which states that transportation to / from the dealer is NOT covered under warranty.
You wanted to save money and bought in NJ. Now you have trouble engaging a dealer in ME with your tractor's issues. There is no real upside to your situation with the ME dealer.
So let me know what you want to do - if you're a reasonable distance I MIGHT be able to help out.
That's the best I can offer. You can PM me your phone # if you want.
