Well, vacation is over and back to the grind today...

59 right now and a high of 88 predicted. No rain, so I guess most of that is behind us.

Hot this week with isolated t-storms 71 going to low 90s today. Still working out of town so off to work

At a day job, hazy, hotter and more humid this week. Yesterday NO rain, although when driving, ran into about 10 rain drops. Flipping wierd.

This week it is suppose to be dry. Heard on the late night news, this area has over 10 inches of rain, more than last year.

I think that is an average for the region, because last week, we got "flooded", and had six inches in one day. No crap. A bullfrog took up residence in a driveway culvert. It is usually dry, used for run-off, but this year, it is wet and running. Amazing.

Actually cut grass yesterday, did some mulch, sweated a lot.

I've got an inch of rain in my rain guage that has collected since yesterday morning! Need a whole lot more, but am so thankful for what I got! Temps in the upper 60s this morning, going to a high in the upper 70s, and still a chance of rain for today! I am doing the happy dance here! :cool2: Unheard of for the middle of July!

My weekend guest left a half hour ago so for the next several days I can do what I want, when I want....:thumbsup:

Come off it man. Bionic eyes have been around since I saw Lee Majors on the TV. I asked for one when mine was poked out and they told me my insurance would not cover it, so all I got was the coral implant and some really expensive plastic.

Darn insurance.

I finally had a full Friday, Saturday and Sunday at work. The first time in about two months. Now if the week nights would just pick up a little.

Oy! just got back from Boy scout camp with troop goshen, CT and sacket harbor tourament for my son. I finally shaved week and half worth of beard off and got back on my tractor to mow the lawn. :tractor: Feels good to be back in the seat of my tractor. Today they are predicting low 90's and high humidity and for next few days . blah!
