ok what oil filter for a y385

My Jinma 204 uses a Wix 51364, 51304 or Fram PH2825.
Going by the number Tommy posted and the piece of photocopied paper that came with mine a JX0707 filter crosses to NAPA 1364, Wix 51364 or Fram PH2825.....Mike

Mike, There are 3- different JX0707 filters all different threads, size and pitch.

Wow $ 10.00 to get a new nipple made ? Come on !!! My shop guy makes more than that per hour and does not have a lathe or a shop to pay for ? You have spent more in gas and time then the correct filter would have cost you ?

I have my nipple out of the filter head now, before I would pay that I think i would have a machine shop here were i live do it for around 10.00

Good luck with that. My local shops charge $25 min for just a quick weld or press. I think $35 is fair, especially when you consider your time, gas, ect.

hahah yea you live in the land of the union worker, down south shops are not like that well were i live at least here they would do a press or small weld for free

Your oil filter is probably a JX0707 which crosses over to a WIX 51347, but it sounds like you might be unfortunate enough to have a 22x2.0 spindle, and at this time there is no cross over number for that.

Hi Nan yea you are right, I was going to go down to my local napa store and try to find a match, I also was wondering northern tool sells nortrac do you think they might have a filter that would fit it

I'd just buy the $15 filter and be done with it.

If you have any more problems with the filter numbers let me know. I can send you the filter that fits that spindle, Filter matching can be a pain, so I make sure we have them all.
