I do as well.....the Woods MBS72 at 680# is 113#/ft, so that's close to the weight he suggests. My tractor has 3" wheel spacers on each side with the R4 tires, so it's 66" wide......and I haven't ruled out going with wider spacers down the road. The 72" BB would hang 3" past each tire now and allow me to go to 5" spacers each side for a rear width of 70" and still cover my tracks. Not that I plan on doing that anytime soon.....but after getting the 3" spacers, I've wished I'd have gone wider and I'm not against ordering wider ones and selling the 3"-ers if the mood hits me just right one day.

I don't have a TnT or rear remotes on my tractor.....but those are the next item on the list and will really let me get the most out of the BB.

Called today and ordered the Woods BSM72 with floating gate in Kubota orange. Should be here in 7-10 days according to the salesman. I'm ready to put it to work, so it's gonna be a long wait. I'll post up pics when it gets here.

So I'm looking at the pic of your 3PH. The turn buckleson my L3700SU are on he outside of the arms and attach to the tractor next to the inside of the back tires. That must be a new design on the 38

Good choice on the 72" wide. My L3800 with R4s would pull a 72" full of dirt no problem, Scarifiers at full depth in red clay no problem.
If I was purchasing again I would buy a roll over.
I'm considering converting my Land Pride to hydraulic scarifiers.

Yeah, I've quiet likely to go to 5" wheel spacers at some point (have 3" now) and even then the 72" would cover my tracks - they are 66" now.

Dealer just called and said that he placed my order with Woods and they don't have any in stock and have to make it. Looking at Aug 5-6 before I get it. :irked:

Hydraulic scarifiers are really handy, we have a Land Pride BB2584 and HR3584 and sure miss them when using the BB2584.

Hydraulic scarifiers are really handy, we have a Land Pride BB2584 and HR3584 and sure miss them when using the BB2584.

Hush now....I'm in the planning stages of getting rear remotes and TnT and thought about getting a BB with them, but they are a lot heavier (probably too heavy for my tractor) and a lot more $$$....and I know I'm gonna be wishing I had them when I have that lever beside my seat.
