Box Blade for Kubota L3800

Hush now....I'm in the planning stages of getting rear remotes and TnT and thought about getting a BB with them, but they are a lot heavier (probably too heavy for my tractor) and a lot more $$$....and I know I'm gonna be wishing I had them when I have that lever beside my seat.

Seriously consider the rollover BB.

Your L3800 can easily pull any 72" rake, blade , BB,

Quit making lame excuses:laughing::laughing:............"probably too heavy for my tractor" that L3800 will pick up 2000 lbs at the lift points.

"a lot more $$$" come on man you can afford rock lights:laughing::laughing:

You only want to buy that box blade once.
Go ahead and get the hydro scarifiers or a rollover.

On a more serious note...how steep are the grades that you run that tractor on, that you're considering 5" wheel spacers?

Do you guys think that his dealer would cancel his current order? :confused3: And then we are looking at more than 2 sets of rear remotes if he goes with the hydraulic scarifiers and the control valve that he wants to use becomes a problem. Or he could just go with the roll-over BB. But then before he's done, he's going to want 3 or 4 sets anyway.

With out a doubt Brian.
I put four on my L3800 and used three pretty quickly.
That only left one for hydro scarifiers.
IMHO you need a minimum of three on the back: T&T and blade swing or similar.
Then you will need one more for the third function on the loader end.

What's your opinion on using an electronic joystick for the control portion and then as many solenoid valves as required?
That way you can mount the solenoid valves under/behind the seat out of the way.
I've seen the electronic joysticks on ebay for a very attractive price.
I realize that the solenoid valves don't really feather they're either On or Off.

You can control that flow with flow restrictors and that is pretty easy if you are always using the same size cylinder per set of outlets. Space is still a problem, maybe even more so. The electric valves are often larger one way or another than the manual valves. Yes they could be hidden, but you have to have the room to hide them. I come across this all the time with all the smaller tractors.
