Oil & Fuel BX2350 - the infamous second fuel filter

Appears Kubota is copying JD. My new 1025 has the in line filter underneath the left side foot board. My 4010 only had a smaller-than-one-on-1025 on the engine inside a bowl. Only diesel problem I had was wax drop out one cold winter here. The wax droplets plugged the outlet from the tank. Didn't get to the filter.

Probably the cheapest replacement maint item. Like was said before that injector pump is big bucks. I change both every time I change oil.

The filter with no paper pleats doesn't sound original part to me.I'm willing to bet thats the one under the tractor. I'd replace the filter under tractor first no matter what.if the one with out paper pleat is by engine,,I'd replace it with same filter with paper pleat.

Yea NAPA is where I got the filters from. The one I have isn't metal, maybe I'll go back and see what they have because I need to get the other one.
Now is there a fuel shut off before I change these?

I wish there was a shutoff. You will just need to clamp it of with vise grips. I was toying with the idea of taking the plastic lawn mower shutoff from store and put it in for next time.problem is I don't know if it will work exposed to diesel .

WOW that was easy,Thanks for the help guys. That sure made a world of difference, it idles and runs a lot smoother and there was a bunch of crap in those filters.

Make sure you are changing the rear one, it's towards the back.
