It is a mistake to separate load rating, ply rating and actual air pressure in the tire. A high load rated tire is rated that way at a higher tire pressure, and is extremely reliant on that higher pressure at load. An equal type/size higher rated tire carrying a hi load at lower psi is in more danger than a lower rated tire carrying the same load at the same psi.

Fully understand the PSI thing.My stock front tire says 36 lbs PSI max.
You said they were badly deflected at 30 psi. How do they look at 45?

Have not tried that much PSI yet.Was a little nervous the tire might blow out.

Well, I had a 30 psi 11.2x24 AG to 75 once by accident. I was concerned. But not at 35/40 which is all Ive ever needed for heavy loader work. ... Many tires will give max psi guidlines for seating the bead when putting on a tire. That is the moist dangerous tire condition. You can be sure that its safe somewhat above that when the bead is seated.
,,, Big rolling deflection of a loaded tire is the major enemy. The higher rated the worse they tolerate significant deflection.

Air pressure is PART of the equation, not all of it. Load rating of the tire carcass is the other element. Load rating is directly related to the ply rating (or ** rating for radials) and tire construction.

Only because it can hold more air. In a road going tire, it is also because it is tougher and can handle more heat at speed due to weight and deflection.

In todays tires, there really is no more 'plys'. A 'ply rating' is simply a way to show how much air, and thus weight, a tire can hold.

It wont blow. Just take it fairly easy and it'll be alright.

Ply ratings are as common as dirt on bias ply tires and do nothing to show acceptable inflation rates. Inflation data do that.
Radial tires use load rating scales or star ratings. Mentioned. Bias ply tires still use ply ratings for the most part. All directly relate to the tire's basic construction. If you disagree, better do some reading. Over-inflating a tire with a low load rating does not increase the load rating of the tire beyond a modest amount. That is the direction much of the discussion here is heading, and it does the OP a disservice.

Surprised Kioti used 6 ply on that tractor. My CT225/CK27 has 8 ply Ag w/48 PSI and minimal squat with full load. Bobcat used 10 ply Ag @ 62 PSI on their CT4xx/DKxx models.
