Inconsiderate Idiots at the gas station

that 'lady' either has a comple lack of respect for her fellow man.. or is a moron.. not sure which to give her the benefit of the doubt on...

Costco, everybody pretty well behaved and going in one direction. Im behind a women in a van, the two cars at the pump leave and the van driver pulls up to the first pump not the second one, and stops, gets out to pump gas into her van leaving the pump in front of her vacant. She even looked at me and smirked ,I thought, what a .... The attendant walks up to her, said something and pointed the the next pump, then pointed to the exit. She looked kinda shocked and got back in and pulled up to the next pump so i could then pull the pump and fuel up. Don't know what he said but he was right on top of the poor behavior. In general people around here are pretty aware of whats going on around them and acting accordingly.

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence.

The harm is not limited to the time wasted by other customers waiting in line. If the customers pull forward to the last open pump, allowing the next customer to begin filling up at the first open pump, the service station sells a lot more fuel per day. With slim profit margins per gallon, the service station owners also have a dog in the fight.

As for the convenience stores, they are usually happy to just break even on fuel sales because they make their profits on the sale of in-store items. The customer who never comes inside the store is not their preferred customer.
