Anyone ever deal with them?

Their prices seems amazing! I am looking for a complete 54 inch quick hitch blade setup and they have it brand new, complete, for just over $1,200 with free shipping.

I just want some user opinions before I consider doing business with a dealership some 2,300 miles away.

I have bought tons of stuff from them over the years, but I am local to them

Just never bought any JD stuff although I did deal for one once.
I do not remember the model of JD they were trying to shove down my throat 4 years ago, it is the stripped down model that has few accessories.
When I asked about it on here everyone told me to steer clear of it

Now I just buy parts for my eXmark and stihls from them

My local store claims they need to sell above MSRP to make profit. They claim MSRP is basically their cost to purchase the product from John Deere. I claimed BS the second I heard that.

I spoke with the Salesman today, and the best situation we could hammer out was me buying the quick hitch and angling kit from the parts department, and buying just the 54 inch blade through him. So what it will end up costing me is:

Quick Hitch $700
Angling Kit $ 200
54'' Blade $600

That's still $65 over full MSRP. Time to find a new dealer.

If you are close to the border, can't you just buy in the US, and come back over with it? You could even use a truck with a cover or a van, and maybe not declare it, although that might be against the rules....

It might be worth it unless you're really far north, like Yellowknife or something.

I tried that already. I even offered to pay cash, making it a sale off the books so to speak. I think the dealership is scared of being caught, and obviously it wouldn't be worth it.

I think the only way around it is to find an American citizen to buy it the less it as used then bring it north. Warranty should not be an issue.

Just Mutton though, or another dealership that is closer to you? Why not try one on the border near you?
