Rotary Cutter BUSH HOG BH27 arrived

Took delivery of my new BH27 today and took it on a trial run.

Here it is still on the lot.


Unloading it had to use my snow mobile trailer my others are not wide enough






Got about half the front field mowed and the rest of the western half of the property

Looks petty stoat, like how it came with chains. Land Pride charges extra for that.

Bush Hog charges extra as well he told me how much before ordered it but its not listed on the receipt seems to me it was close to $300. I like that its orange and not red. After having been hit in the back and head with small pieces of shrapnel using my buddies i decided to order the chains. Ive heard the rubber Shields don't last as long.

Sides are 1/4" it was a tough call between landpride and bush hog. If i had known the BH had a Chinese gear box i would have checked out where the land pride was made

I think you done good! My stock guard was a piece of steel on the back.

Thanks so far I'm very happy. I made sure the slip clutch was adjusted and working properly the dealer did not touch it on prep. Also checked to make sure it had oil.

Make sure you write down your spacing on the slip clutch to readjust every year

Thanks I sure hope its the first and last 7ft brush hog i'll ever need. It should outlast me unless i do something stupid.

Thanks I like the way it looks on the back. It looks very well made all the welds look good, Not necessarily worried about the gear box it but i do try too avoid giving the Communist in China my money. A lot of the parts in automobiles come from china now with no problems. As long as someone keeps up with their quality audits and doesn't let some cost savings go through with out the O.E.M's knowledge.
