First time on forum in a long time. My TC 29 has 2250 hours now, 1999 model, one of the first boomers. Loved it since new. Just curious what new holland owners think of new holland compacts to date. Replacement parts are so expensive. I have heard that some Kubota parts work in New Hollands. Any truth to it. I have calcium leaking from one of my loaded rears ( turf - 13.6 x 16 0 and hate to see what the rim looks like when I remove tire. Wonder if New Holland will ever build a boomer like the older ones.

Waiting on fixing a leaking tire that's loaded with CaCl is not gonna save you money in the long run. Get it fixed and wash the rim off WELL while the tire is dismounted.
TC parts have gone up since ISM and New Holland divorced, don't look for that situation to get better.
NH doesn't seem to have any desire to move back to a high quality CUT after sourcing them from ISM for decades then jumping ship.

Had a 1998 1925 Boomer. Decent tractor except for the 7308 loader. It was a piece of crap design.

There were two points out by the front bumper the loader pivoted on, and pressure was applied downward each time you picked up a load. Over the ten years I owned it, I broke numerous parts of the loader, engine subframe, and FINALLY ( the last straw ), the bell housing over the hydrostat unit that the engine bolts too ( $1300 for that housing and you have to nearly disassemble the tractor to replace it ). That was it for me. I went to a bigger tractor with a MUCH beefier loader design.

I am not familiar with ISM. Can you elaborate on the ISM New Holland relationship and history? My local NH dealer is now selling Kioti (sp?) brand compacts instead of boomers.

ISM is also known as Shibaura. The Japanese source for all Ford/ New Holland compact tractors from the late 1970's till 4 or 5 years ago.

After 43 years of selling only blue tractors, my employer is also a Kioti dealer.

Any ownership/subsidiary connection between CNH and Kioti? Probably results in a higher margin for dealers or CNH.

Follow the bouncing dollar bill.

I think the new ones are made by LS! Seems to be a lot of people getting them on here! The LS brand that is.

My Dealer is a New Holland / Kioti Dealer too

No corporate connection. Not even close.

Why would CNH want to see a competitive make on their dealer's lots?

If there were a corporate connection between CNH & Daedong, I'd be selling parts for blue Kiotis.

I would think that CNH would NOT want their authorized dealers/distributors to also sell a competing brand. I also would be surprised to find that the dealership agreement would actually allow it or to not address the possibility. Kioti does make similar sized tractors and would therefore closely if not directly compete with the offerings of CNH. Are the two brands of similar sized tractors real close in fit, finish and quality or really far apart? The answer may explain it.
