Kioti Dk45SE Sold Kubota BX 2200 Sold Kubota B 3200 Loader WR Long 4 in 1
Just got it today from Kaufman 22 foot tilt. I knew it would be close if both tractors would fit. I love it when a plan comes together. For safety police only time I would load both is to mow one property I own 20 miles aweigh. No long tows with both tractors. Lots of room for one and a lot of other stuff though. tilt trailer 001.jpgtilt trailer 003.jpgtilt trailer 005.jpg

Nice fit. I bet you measured and double checked a few times. Good job!

What's the weight rating on the trailer? I've been looking around for a 10,000 pound one but they are tough to find.

15 K with $ 300.00 upgrade. 14 K at base price of $ 4090.00. Also includes 16 OC cross members LED lights and other stuff. I have owned a lot of trailers in my life. I think this was a great deal, will know for sure in a year or two.

Same trailer I am in the process of buying, but 451 miles away I have lots of questions about buying sight unseen. Does the tilt slam or is it a soft close? Is the wiring in a sealed harness? Wood treated? Current dated tires? Radials? Front tool box with lock? How long is "knife ramp"? Ball coupler adjustable? Dexter axles? Salesman is a nice guy but I am unsure of his knowledge about this product. Any answers would sure be helpful. Once that bad boy is in Delaware I know its mine and correcting issues will be entertaining! lol

Looks great!

I am also looking at a Kaufman tilt to haul my tractor and zero turn to a site we have to mow. Really like the tilt with 8' deck. I noticed your saying the safety police would frown at hauling two tractors? Not sure why if your tied safely and weight is properly distributed.

Well, uh, because they are the safety police.

Well, uh, because they are the safety police.

Landscape companies haul multiple pieces of equipment all the time on one trailer, often large equipment. Car transport trucks, etc the same thing.

I can't foresee you having any troubles hauling multiple pieces of equipment on one trailer, as long as you're not overweight and have everything secured properly. I don't know how the licensing works in NC, but here in PA if you are hauling a trailer over a 10,000 lb GVWR you have to have combination tags on your truck. The D.O.T is starting to come down pretty hard on guys pulling trailers with their pick up's.

I've been looking at the 14k version of this trailer. According to Kaufman's website, 14,000 GVWR / 22 ft. Wood Tilt Equipment Trailer with Fixed Front Deck - Kaufman Trailers

1. Sealed wiring harness with lifetime LED lights is a $220.00 option.
2. 2 in. treated lumber for the floor is standard. I wouldn't think a trailer would be made with non treated lumber as it wouldn't last very long.
3. Standard tires are 235/80 R16 LRE (3,520 lb.) Not sure if these are radial or not.
4. Chain box with lockable lid standard
5. Not sure what you call a "knife ramp" but the trailer is 22 ft. (8 ft. fixed + 14 ft. 6 in. tilt deck with hydraulic cylinder)
6. Adjustable 2-5/16 ball coupler and pintle ring is a $50 option.
7. I can't remember what the salesman told me when I called, but it has 2-7,000 lb. e-z lube axles

Hopefully that helps answer your questions.

Greg
