I saw it - looked like a ventilated piston to me.

Not hijacking the thread, just thought I'd share the bad day I had yesterday. This is what a broken exhaust valve spring can do. Try now. This is just too weird.

Broken valve spring caused a dropped valve. It also filled the crankcase with coolant. Finishing up today. Oil and filter change too (400 gallons). Total cost? About 10 large.
