The point I was wanting to convey was the World Series is won by the best team, not the most popular. Sales numbers don't always follow the best product.

I got the humor, just had to set some facts straight for those that didn't. Everyone knows Ram is the best truck, even with lower sales numbers. 
although that seems to be rapidly changing... does that mean that their trucks are getting worse? :laughing:

No, just means that the rate of suckers is ever increasing! :laughing:
I actually do like the Ram trucks, just not as much as my truck of choice.

I would agree that the ram 1500 is the best of the bunch in some categories. They just shot themselves in the foot with the low and limiting payload capacities. Strong drivetrain but unusable.

It's been middle of the pack in all the reviews I've seen. Don't be fooled though, the top 4 cars in the midsize segment are WAY above the bottom of the pack. In my opinion the Accord, Passat, Fusion, Camry are the top dogs. The Koreans are competitive and the new Malibu is a joke.
The '14 Malibu isn't bad at all. Not top of class, but equal to the Camry IMO.
The Camry is the least inspiring car in the class by far. Nothing about it is great. Even the quality.
I would NEVER put and VW product near the top of any class.
I'd rate the Mazda 6 up there, but only on paper.
The Fusion is a good car, but not great. The powertrains underperform in fuel economy and power.
The Accord powertrains are top notch. The only car in the class, to my knowledge, that routinely beats it's EPA ratings.
