3 tires maybe.
4? No.
You're right.. Limited slip in the rear of mine.. So true.. Only 3
With a Super Duty, limited slip in the rear usually doesn't mean a whole lot. That's one complaint I have about my SD...the limited slip is next to worthless! The one in my '05 F150 worked MUCH better.
Most of them have a e-locker now.
A LSD is okay in a street truck or car but the clutches go bad over time. You can also overpower a LSD and do a one wheel peel. Also a LSD does not divide the power 50/50.

I prefer a limited slip in a street truck as well. I chose it over an e-locker when I ordered mine. When towing, you would have to push the elocker switch to take off on wet pavement. That would be a pain. I think they are safer also because if you need to move quick in an emergency, the limited slip would work and not the elocker. The e-locker is an option in the SD now, but yes, the PowerStroke just overpowers the LSD.
