Put me down for another .5 inch. I've been out dancing and checking air pressure in my truck's tires.
Booger was dancing in his wet coat also. Extra Scooby Snacks for him tonight!

Definitely should have been a team effort earlier!

My dogs hate to get wet! My mares do too. First drop of rain and the mares head for the nearest lean to, and huddle. My newest horse, loves the water. I can't fill his trough, because he will play in it and empty it to 1/4 full. So, when the mares run for the shed, he goes out and enjoys it and grazes in it! I really do laugh at the different personalities of the critters around here!

Good deal, bindian! If I miss the call, I'll call you when I am on the road, and let you know more of a schedule, so maybe our paths can cross along the way! :D

A picture of you two young gals together in Austin would be neat. :wonderwoman: and :cowgirl:

FG. You were talking about a lot of slides. I have boxes and slide trays full of them, too.
As I recall, some of the pics you posted on this thread had curved corners like the old cardboard
slide mounts used to have. Were the originals slides?:)

Yes, pacerron, I have some prints that I have scanned in, but the originals that I got those prints off of were slides. I want to go through this winter, and look at slides on the projector and see what is there. (I have a huge stack of them!) Might be some fun things to post, here too! I want to scan the slides in, and then save on a Flashdrive, or the like. Of course, by the time I need the flashdrive, it will probably be as obsolete as some of my other backed up stuff. I know there is bound to be a way to save them, in a form other than slides, but I really am techno challenged, so will just have to muddle through.

Maybe we can find someone who will snap a pic of bindian and I together! Maybe we can find someone to airbrush out a few "crow's feet" before we post it though!

Be glad to oblige.
I can even make people thinner, if needed.:)

I'm waiting on the moon. It just came up but is behind a cloud.
There is a clear spot overhead at about 45 deg east that I just saw a jet from CMH go through.
It will probably be filled in before the moon gets there. Big storm coming tonight.

My camera adds 15 pounds, so we can't use mine.:laughing::laughing:

OK then. If we use bindian's camera, pacerron has to take 15 pounds off of each of us! I'm sure with a good camera, she nor I would need such help! :D Unfortunately, my camera does the same. It isn't a high quality camera, as it is a P.H.D. camera, (i.e.: Push Here Dummy)! I'll try to remember to take it though. Since pacerron has been able to make some of the old photos look just like they did, he might be able to make bindian and I look like we really do too! :drink:

Ya know bindian; If we trust pacerron with this task, and he gets a wild hair to try to be funny and add ANOTHER 15 pounds to us, we'll have to make a trip up north to kick his behind!

8:00 gauge check. 1.6 inches. Still saying we have an 80% chance of rain until 10 a.m., then drops to 50% through the day. I'll take it. This is the biggest rainfall we have had here since we bought the place in April 2012.

Probably another 1/2" since sundown. Sitting on back porch at ranch with a great cigar, a bit of Jack D., and watching the lightning. Life is good.

Was supposed to load my horse and head out to the Hill Country first thing this morning for annual TV Trail Ride. Decided to show up a day, or so, late and watch the rain from Lost Creek Ranch. Good decision, as has rained all day at our camp south west of Hunt.
