I bought rear wheel spacers and tire chains for B2320. The spacers are 1.5 inch thick and come with long wheel studs. How do I remove the original wheel studs so I can install the new ones? Thanks

First make sure they're studs and not bolts put in from the back. There are tools to remove studs, google "stud extractor" and you'll find all kinds. I have the type that goes on the end of a socket wrench and a cam locks it onto the stud. You might also have to heat the area to get it off. You could also put some penetrating oil on it if you have some time to wait.

Another method is the "double nut" technique. Put two nuts on the stud and tighten against each other really tight, then back the stud out using the nuts. If the stud is in real tight this might not work, but many times it does.

Thanks Beez,

The studs are threaded, no bolt head at the rear. I bought a stud extractor from NAPA and it should work just fine.

Moship,

I thought about doing that but did not want to risk snapping it. I went with the extraction socket and think it will do the job.

Thanks

I had spacers installed on my B3030 and this is the method my local garage used on my tractor.
