Also in Canada, on our property I can park as many campers as I like and camp in them I suppose, only problem is the sewage needs to go in an approved system, not dumped on top of the ground.
Some cities here have anti-camper rules because people would end up with one in the driveway, one on the street, one in the back yard all filled with people (family?) and would take up a whole street of parking, and have exposed sewage trying to run it to the street drain, huge amount of garbage left out for collection etc.
Most areas are pretty lenient about it though, my inlaws are in a subdivision and have their camper setup in their driveway from May to November every year like half the other people.
There is one house that has 10 cars parked at it and clogs the street on the blind turn there. Once the loaded school bus was forced into the ditch on that turn meeting another car where they had their cars right on the road. Shortly after that the house owner posted a notice at the community mailbox demanding to know who threw the brick through the back window of their car. Someone wrote on the notice "Good for them, stop leaving your #$^@^ car in the middle of the road." lol
