Comparison Difference in L4600 and MX4700

Have narrowed down my choice of new Kabota's to either a L4600 or the MX4700. Was considering the the Grand L 4060 but realized that I need just a working tractor and can live without all the bells and whistles that come with the Grand ( tilt wheel, digital readout instrument panel, etc.) Better for me to save the bucks and upgrade to a higher horsepower tractor. My only requirements are 4x4 and a loader. So hey guys, what are the main difference in the two above tractors? Will appreciate any advice and input. Really glad that I found this site!

I feel the same way about the Grand. Nice tractors, but I want simple and basic.

The MX4700 is a MX5100 without the turbo. So it's a bit larger and heavier than a L4600.

Both very good tractors!

Was recently looking but comparing the L4600 to the MX5100. Saw the MX4700 and felt it was basically the same as the L4600 other than hood and grill styling. The 47 puts out a couple more horses and is a bit heavier but 3pth lift capacity are the same. If you go to Kubota's Site like MtnView suggested for all the specs it would then be great if your dealer had both side by side to compare also.

Another plus for the L4600, it's built on a Grand L chassis. I believe it was the Messick's guy who said so?

I got an MX5100 for the same reasons, all tractor without the sugar coating. I also got the gear driven, shuttle shift. I like the power dedication. Think about filling the rear tires, and 4wd. The tractor is a beast, you will love it.

I have a L4600 and love it, but if the MX 4700 comes with the larger loader of the MX 5100 might be something to think about. Mine has the LA 764?? And the MX5100 a LA844 I believe not sure about the 4700
